Firas Rafati, DO

Dr. Rafati is from Orland Park, IL and attended the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign where he majored in Kinesiology. Dr. Rafati attended medical school at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA before completing his surgical internship at Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, IL. Dr. Rafati went on to complete a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Northwestern Medicine Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital during which time he was a presenter at multiple national conferences including the American Academy of Pain Medicine. After residency, Dr. Rafati completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education approved fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Michigan through the department of anesthesiology.

Dr. Rafati’s philosophy is to treat every patient with a holistic multi-disciplinary approach, utilizing and exhausting all non-pharmacological treatments in conjunction with interventional pain medicine. Dr. Rafati takes pride in treating all patients with the highest quality of care and compassion.

Dr. Rafati is double board certified in Pain Medicine as well as Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
